Our Approach at Everton Free School
Our approach at Everton Free School is to meet the needs of students as set out in our school’s SEND Policy, which is available on our website or at the main office.
We recognise the definition of SEND as stated in the Code of Practice 2015:
“A pupil has SEN where their learning difficulty or disability calls for special educational provision, namely provision different from or additional to that normally available to pupils of the same age.”
We promote a person-centred, graduated approach while promoting high quality teaching and additional interventions.
Underpinning ALL our provision in school is the graduated approach cycle of: ASSESS – PLAN – DO – REVIEW
Our most recent report from April 2021 will be reviewed at our meeting of the Full Governing Board on March 2022 and will be posted onto the website following their approval.
